Who we are

When key resources are missing in unpredictable ways, tools that can intelligently infer what is missing can become critical supports for care.

For AI tools to improve health care in low-resource settings, they need to work for the people using them.

Mission

To generate evidence and develop deployable AI technologies for global health and humanitarian response through interdisciplinary research, evaluation, and implementation science.

Vision

A world where open, transparent and equitable AI empowers communities, strengthens health systems to tackle urgent global health and humanitarian challenges.
